Since when does someone claims to make around poverty level income pay taxes? Or did you lie to qualify for CareLink? FYI, people on medicare, chip pay monthly premiums....not paying a token amount on a bill that will never be fully paid--like CareLink. If you haven't figured out nothing is free, you must have never finished junior high. Only a dumb ass would think any form of medical treatment is free. In the end---somebody always has to pay.
This health insurance bill is about keeping insurance companies from continuning to screw the public with huge raises in premiums, denial of payments for needed test and treatments. If it takes the government putting them out of business, so be it. I have no sympathy (or pity) for anyone who works in the rip off insurance industry. I really wish the government would take over all forms of insurance. It is nothing but a scam of cheats and liars. Even Wall Street has gotten in on the act by selling and trading life insurance policies from people who need cash now.
PS, I was smart enough to have no children therefore EIC is not relevant. Only lazy scumbags like you use EIC cash back to live.

Hey wait a minute I pay taxes as well and so does everyone one on care link, my point is there is already some sort of program for the poor. its either medicare, medicaid, chip, or programs like this. This health bill isnt about helping anyone. Its about control. Its going to raise taxes on everyone and push the insured into government health care.
No one in this country is denied any kind of treatment, walk into any hospital and you will get care, we already pay for free health care
PS you probably get all your taxes back using child earned income credits, tell me I am wrong
